Hi! I'm Rafaela!
I am a PhD student in Engineering and Management of the Natural Environment at Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain).
I obtained a Master's Degree in Geology/Volcanology at the University of the Azores (Portugal).
I also completed the Bachelor's and Teaching Degree in Geography at Federal University of Espirito Santo (Brazil).

My current position is as a Remote Sensing scientist under the European project "Marine Coastal Ecosystem Biodiversity and Services in a Changing World" (MaCoBioS).
​
I'm a researcher on the Research Institute for Volcanology and Risk Assessment's (IVAR) Remote Sensing team. My activities involve the processing of satellite imagery in order to support monitoring.
